Cranford Co. Wins 3 National ADDYs

The American Advertising Federation notified Little Rock agency Cranford Co. that it has won three National ADDY® awards. Cranford Co. is the only Arkansas agency to receive an award in this year’s competition. The awards will be presented June 13th at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas.

“Cranford Co. won the same number of National ADDYs as every agency in Dallas—combined—and more than all of the agencies in Oklahoma City or San Antonio, “ said Jay Cranford, chief creative officer for the agency. The American Advertising Awards are the industry’s largest and most representative competition, honoring the creative spirit of marketing communications. It draws more than 600,000 entries annually. “What this means is that clients don’t have to go to agencies in larger markets for top-quality work, because that quality is right here.”

Cranford Co.’s work for the Museum of Automobiles won National ADDYs for Poster Campaign, Point-of-Purchase Campaign, and Photography Campaign. In-house photographer, videographer, and agency partner Chris Cranford has also had his personal photography featured by international art shows in New York, San Francisco, and Oregon.

“This announcement just puts a great big exclamation point on our first year,” said Chris Cranford—who, along with his brothers, left another Little Rock agency ten months ago to form Cranford Co. “When our father, Wayne Cranford, founded his agency with Jim Johnson in 1961—this is what they set out to do, provide national-quality Madison Avenue work on Main Street in Little Rock. We are extremely proud to be the true bearers of that legacy today.”

“It takes most agencies many years to compete, and win, at this level,” said Ross Cranford. “These latest awards are in addition to winning the most local ADDYs, and second-most District ADDYs, and being published in Lürzer’s Archive, the international showcase of exceptional ad campaigns.”
