Cranford Co. Wins the Second-Highest Total of District Addys

Ft. Worth, TX — The 10th District of the American Advertising Federation representing Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana and Arkansas released the 2017 American Advertising Awards District Winners list— and Little Rock’s Cranford Co. captured 20 awards overall—which was the second highest tally of awards in the entire district, behind only GSD&M of Austin, Texas, an agency with over 400 employees.

The American Advertising Awards are the advertising industry’s largest and most representative competition, recognizing creative excellence and the very best advertising worldwide. The competition draws more than 60,000 entries annually. Cranford Co. won more district awards than much larger firms, like TM Advertising, The Richards Group, TracyLocke, Ackerman McQueen, McGarrah Jessee and Proof Advertising.

“This just proves it doesn’t take a lot of people to do great work. The right group of smart people can take on any challenge and succeed,” said Jay Cranford, chief creative officer for the agency. “Our work was judged against the biggest and best agencies in Dallas, Houston, Austin, Oklahoma City, and Tulsa.”

District ADDYs now move on to the National level of the competition to be held in New Orleans, Louisiana. The Cranford Co. team has won six National ADDYs in the last three years.

“Innovative, award-winning advertising stands out and gets noticed,” said Cranford. “Companies that invest in award-winning creative know their marketing messages won’t blend in with all the other messages consumers are bombarded with each day.”
Cranford Co. clients winning awards were: Twitter, Twitter UK, Heifer International, Williamson Insurance, Wright Lindsey Jennings, Susan G. Komen Arkansas, Hot Springs Documentary Film Festival, AdClub Little Rock/Cranford Co., and CARE for Animals. Cranford Co. won a Gold award for CARE for Animals “Paws on the Runway” campaign, six Silver awards, and 13 Bronze awards.

The only other district winner from AdClub Little Rock was Few, for the “Made By Few” conference website.
“We’re not afraid to put our work up against any agency in the country” said Cranford. “Competing in the ADDY Awards challenges us to push the boundaries and create the absolute best possible work for our clients. We’ve continuously proved this on all levels, and clients see the results on their bottom lines.”
